For new profiles please note: The profile is not active – refer to the release
letter in the security bag. If you are not an administrator, your password must
first be authorised by an administrator.
1 Add the URLs to trusted sites.
- Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools and then Internet options.
- Click on Security.
- Click on Trusted sites.
- Click on Sites.
- Untick the 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone' tickbox.
- Add the following URLs to the trusted sites:
- www.netbankbusiness.co.za;
- https://www.nedbank.co.za;
- http://www.nedbank.co.za;
- https://businessbanking.nedsecure.co.za; and
- *.nedsecure.co.za.
- Reselect the 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone' tickbox.
- Click on Close after adding the files.
- Click on OK.

(you will need administrator rights to do this. You must access the wizard again after downloading and installing the software. To access the wizard again please go to NetBank Business after restarting and click on the logon button. When the wizard has been accessed again, please start with step 3.)
3 Insert the token into a USB port.
4 Restart your computer with the token in the USB port (you must access the wizard again. To access the wizard again please go to NetBank Business and click on the logon button. When the wizard has been accessed again, please start with step 5.)
5 Activate the token.
- When the computer has restarted with the token in the USB port, you will be presented with a 'Change PIN' window.
- Enter the default PIN '123456' in the 'Current PIN' field.
- Enter a new PIN that also consists of six digits.
- Confirm the PIN by entering it in the 'Confirm new PIN' field.
- Click on Change PIN.
- Then click OK.
6 Download the certificate onto the token.
Refer to the default password letter.
- Enter your profile number.
- Enter your user ID.
- Enter your password from the letter received from Nedbank.
- Click on Proceed.
- Change the password when you are prompted to do so, by entering the default
password into the 'Current password' field.
- Enter your new password and confirm it by entering your new password again.
- Click on Change password (remember what the new password is).
- Enter your new six-digit PIN for the token when prompted to do so.
- Click on OK.
- The certificate will be downloaded to the token.
7 Close the wizard window.
8 Log on by selecting the logon button.
